Argentina Internship FAQs

Common questions about visas, online teaching, and life in Buenos Aires.

How much can I expect to earn?
+
Teachers typically earn between $500 and $700 USD per month teaching online. Most participants choose this program for the incredible lifestyle and cultural experience in Argentina rather than high savings potential. We recommend having personal savings to supplement your travels.
Do I need a university degree?
+
No. A Bachelor's degree is NOT required to join this program or to secure the online teaching placement.
Is accommodation included?
+
Accommodation is not included in the tuition, but we provide full assistance. Most trainees choose our optional "student house" accommodation in a historic building next to the campus, sharing with fellow teachers.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
+
Not at all! In fact, we include 10 hours of Spanish lessons per week during your training to help you get started.
How much money should I bring?
+
We recommend bringing approximately $2,500 - $3,000 USD. This ensures you can cover your initial housing deposits, food, and enjoy the city comfortably during the 4-week training period before you start earning.
What is the age limit?
+
We welcome applicants between the ages of 18 and 65. It is a diverse cohort often mixing gap-year students and career changers.
Which nationalities are eligible?
+
Most passport holders are welcome. You must be a fluent English speaker. Non-native speakers with a high level of fluency (IELTS 6.5+ equivalent) are eligible and encouraged to apply.
What kind of visa do I need?
+
You will enter Argentina on a standard Tourist Visa (typically 90 days), which can be renewed. Because your teaching work is online for international companies, this is a common and legal way to reside in the country.
Where will my job placement be?
+
Your job is Online! This means your "placement" is wherever you have Wi-Fi. Most grads stay in Buenos Aires, but you are free to move to Mendoza, Cordoba, or Patagonia.
Do I need a criminal background check?
+
Yes. You must provide a clean criminal background check from your home country.
How long is the contract?
+
The online teaching contracts are typically 6 to 12 months, but because it is freelance/contract work, there is often high flexibility to extend.
Can I be placed with a friend?
+
Yes! Since the work is online and you choose your own housing, it is incredibly easy to travel, live, and work alongside a friend or partner.
